Hello everyone, my name is Samuel Ntakirutimana,
I am a student at Kivu Hills Academy and I study tourism as my field of choice. I enjoy playing soccer and some people would call me a comedian, although my dream is to become a great tour guide throughout the beautiful country of Rwanda. I enjoy my studies and got to help create the Cultural Center, which we consider the Tourism workshop. The Cultural Center shows the culture of Rwanda and is a replica of the King’s Palace.
I live in the western part of Rwanda with my parents and 9 siblings. My parents are farmers like many others in this area, and they grow different crops like beans, cassava, peas, maize and coffee. My family lives on $1 a day, and my school tuition is too expensive for them, so my education depends on scholarships.
I would like to ask you to prayerfully consider partnering with Arise Rwanda by spreading hope to more students like myself through an educational scholarship. Scholarships provide us with our curriculum and books, three meals everyday, dorm accommodations, salaries for our teachers, access to the library, and extracurricular activities such as the Kivu Hills Lions basketball team.
